Our Story
Our Story
Bentwood Farms stands as a testament to time, tradition, and the quiet beauty of the Virginia countryside. Built in 1901, the grand white farmhouse has long been a landmark in Beaverdam and Hanover County — its wide front porch, sweeping fields, and towering oaks offering a peaceful escape from the bustle of everyday life.
Once a cherished family farm, the land has now been lovingly transformed into a wedding venue that honors its roots while creating space for new beginnings. With the care of the family who still owns it — parents and their children working side by side — the farm has been restored and reimagined. A rustic pavilion was built, elegant bridal and groom suites were added, and thoughtful touches like a permanent restroom structure and ceremony lawn now complement the natural landscape.
